Joining me this week are Reviews Editor Jonathan Metts and my fellow Pirate in Arms, Stan Ferguson. And unlike last week, there's plenty to discuss, from Nights on the Wii to upcoming Virtual Console games to what handheld titles we want to see make the jump to consoles.

I'd also like to take this moment to remind you to send us listener mail, as this week's batch was a little low. And remember to subscribe via iTunes Thanks and have a pleasent day.

Everybody's voice is really deep in this episode. Messing with the bass Karl?

In before a "Karl just hit puberty joke."

I dunno - I guess we all just dug into our collective manliness? Stan's voice is always pretty deep, but I think Jonny's better described as a tenor.

what am I doing wrong?  Is it because I'm subscribed to the MP3 feed?

I discovered the problem, there was no date in it so it put it way at the bottom below episode 1...

I am a natural tenor, but I can speak bass if so required.  Stan is definitely a natural bass (or baritone?), and I think Karl is in the tenor club with me.

Stan's mike needed to be turned down a bit. His laughing hurt my ears, especially at the Max Comfort stuff.

Anyways, I have an amusing anecdote. Whilst driving to family lunch today, I listened to this podcast in which Karl said at the end he doesn't want to see Elite Beat on the Wii because it would lose it's finesse, a point that I would agree with. Upon completing RFN, I switched over to IGN's Wii-k in Review podcast and within the first five minutes, Jessica Chobot said she wants to see EBA on the Wii. It made me laugh because it was kinda like Karl and Jessica were discussing the issue. Perhaps you had to be there.

And I'm with Metts on the Castlevanias. I know I've played pretty much the same game six times now, but I cannot get enough. I don't know what it is about that series that keeps me coming back, but I love it, whatever it is. If only Nintendo would churn out 2D Metroids like Konami churns out the Casltevanias... *sigh*
