I can't justify a $600 system with anything, even games I can't play anywhere else. It's a cheap Blu-Ray player though I still wouldn't pay $600 to watch movies (and I think both HD formats are set to fail). Regardless, I might not buy it at that price, but someone will. That's the point. There are a lot of people who are going to pay $600 to play FFXIII. Sony is still in this game.

Also, I think 3 consoles can co-exist if each did something different.

I can agree with that, but the 360 and PS3 are quite clearly competing for the same marketshare.
