Blockbuster rents Wii games...
« on: November 25, 2006, 06:56:56 AM »
...just in case you wanna try any. $6.99 for 14 days (7+7 days extra with no late fees) is a pretty decent deal. They've had them since the launch. I rented COD3 and Madden, both are lots of fun with the Wiimote. COD3 if very intense, since you actually feel like you're pointing a gun now. They don't have all the games, at least around here they don't, but they've got about 10 or 12.
I think it says on the box, 'No Hispanics' " - Jeff Green of EA

That's pretty damn impressive. God only knows how poorly BB represented the GC.

I think it all depends on location.  The one near me had quite a bit of GameCube, but I've seen others that were a lot worse.

I wonder at what point in a console's life game rentals are most common?  I tend to want to rent a ton of games early on because my collection is smaller, but then you'd have a lot more customers after two or three years.
That's my opinion, not yours.

Most of the Blockbuster/Rental stores I've seen in the past couple of years have had cheap knockoff GameCube titles and poorly re-printed copies of the front covers to display the games.  PS2 games on the other hand...

I work at a blockbuster and we have Wii games up the policy for next gen games is a 5 day rental  then you have the no late  fees thing @ 7.99 + tax. Some people have already started renting Wii games and rarely anyone rents out PS3 games. And if you rent out a game you must have to have a valid credit card filed in your account.
