I look forward to strolling on into the shops upon launch day here, empty stores, staff with a glazed over look in their eyes as I ask for my pre-ordered Wii "Isss thiiiis that neeew PlayStaaaation, heeere you gooooo".

There were lines for preorders here in Japan

I hope I can still get one when they come out. And now I'll have the good fortune of knowing which launch titles to avoid!

I could have showed up at about 6:30 AM and still gotten one...wouldn't have waited in line as long as I had to to preorder.

That said...I camped out all night and froze my buns off.  Then a hobo walked by and used them for his hot dog.
