Ooooh, I think that's pretty cool, actually. Simple and sleek. And I like how it moves seamlessly into the loaded game with a cool little splash screen with music in the background. I wonder if you'll be able to customise any of the default music/sounds since Nintendo is going to allow custome soundtracks.
Yeah, I wonder what would happen if you tried to load the gamecube disc and lower or higher, too.
And, if I do have to gripe about something...I think the note system is going to get old fast. Looks like it'll be annoying to send anything longer than "hello." And the notes from the games themselves seem more like spam than anything I'd actually care about. Yeah, it'd be cool to know exactly how long I've played each game and get other game announcements, but they should move all the game related messages to a different menu and put them on one big chart or something. I don't want individual notes everyday telling me how long I played a certain game and to "Come back tomorrow!"
And this really isn't a big deal, but I couldn't help noticing the little iPod clicks when navigating menu selections, as well as the overall Apple feel of the interface. It was nice when Nintendo decided to go the simple and sleek route like Apple, but now they're starting to move into blatant ripoff territory...
Eh, other than that I'm happy with the interface. It's simple, but it seems very intuitive. The wiimote even ran a lot more accurately when he adjusted the sensitivity settings to his liking. That might be the fix to a lot of the issues I personally had with the wiimote when I played it. We weren't allowed to change any of the default settings.
