blah I was too slow....I have been tinkering with this..  My problem is that a normal non borderless capable printer can't print quite big enough...

Hu, seems like too much work and money.  I am more than happy with keeping my GBA games together in the box I have them in.  It's cheaper.

Buying the cases is actually dirt cheap at ninty's site... Just buy in bulk.... I think you can get 10 cases for like 8 bucks including shipping.

Pale, you need to set your printer properties to "Landscape" for it to come out the right size...

Really? mine still does not work??  It will cut off some even when on landscape...if you look at an original ds case insert it is just barely shorter than the length of a sheet of paper.  My printer requires larger borders than that...

Man, I'd love to do this, but really, I have no room for 70+ GBA games in DS cases. I guess I'll just stick to my giant binder of Game Boy games...

Well, concern with boarders should be on the outer edges (left and right) of the paper.  Most "boarder less printers" basically mean only these 2 sides.  What's convenient is that printers feed in that direction and so technically they could print a whole banner in "landscape".

Pale... why not use a larger sheet of paper? like Legal?

"Letter" (216 × 279 mm)
"Legal" (216 × 356 mm)
"A4" (210 × 297 mm)

I love how they have art for Boktai when Boktai's special cartridge won't fit in a DS case.  D'oh!

If you're really screwed regarding your printer you could probably print this off at an office supply place or something.

I really like how this project is coming out.  My only complaint is that there are a few designs that have RP as the rating which should be fixed and I would like to see some more variant art.  I think it would look great if someone made some custom art for the Super Mario Advance games that used the original NES/SNES box art.

Does anyone have pics of what the cases look like on the inside, and what the GBA games look like in there?

**UPDATE**
Never mind, I found a picture of the cases. FORGET MY RESPONSE!!!

I know this is an old, old thread, but since I always bump old threads anyway...

Has anyone ever printed any of these out?  I have!

Some time ago, I printed out one for the Metroid Demo and one for the Nintendogs Best Friends edition.  Today, I printed out ones for the four GBA Zelda games... they all look awesome!  I printed them out at work on our photo equiptment...  Damn, they're nice.  And, by using a razor blade, you can cut out just a bit on the inside of the case to hold the manuals...  If I ever get a decent digital camera, I'll take some shots...

Next up, fixing up nice cases for the N64 and SNES Zeldas..

I've been doing this all along.  My problem is for all the GBC games and odd GBA games (like Drill Dozer).  I need a case option for that.  I tried dremmeling some DS cases, but they just melted in spots and looked like hell.

Thanks UncleBob for bumping this thread! Such an awesome idea. I love the DS cases and with this site I have box art for everyone of my games including imports!

Yeah, I want to do some covers/cases for the GameBoy/GBC Zelda games, but the cutting of the DS slot looks to be rather difficult.  I did the "mod" that lets the GBA booklet fit into the DS case pretty easy though, so I might eventually give it a shot...
