Nintendo won't roll their own harddrive.  To much hassle compared to the gain.  I think the SD cards will be of some proporietory (sp?) format.  It stays in line with the Nintendo way of doing things.  They probably then just have a downloadable app for your PC that would read and store the format.  Giving them yet another form of control.  Nintendo doesn't like losing content control.  Also 2 versions is just sillly.

Interesting episode there guys. I suprisingly learnt alot about the 360 and Live Arcade, and the 'restrictions' - 720p widescreen for those old games; that's just laughable, and they supposedly don't even run at 30fps. I mean, I hope that the VC games come in mandatory 480p at least though.
