Topic: Mrio Sunshine: How to swing from the wires?

I read in the instructions on doing the 'big' jump from the wires, but I can not get Mario to swing back and forth at all.  Is there a trick to this?   I rock him, but he never swings like he should.

Just hold down your hover nozzle and it should make him spin faster and faster!

Or you can press B when on the wire and then press L and you'll start spinning over and over until you press A to "fly" really far.

No luck.  When I press the B button, he jumps off the wire (hangs really).  And when I hold down the nozzle, all it does is spray water.  What am I doing wrong?

Hover nozzle???He should hang from the wire and when you press hover it should make him spin round in circles.hen you just jump!

The trick to spinning around is that Mario can hang on the wire with one hand or two.  I'm not sure which right now (I don't feel like going in the game to figure out), but with one of them the spinning around doesn't work, the other it does.

Thanks!  That was the trick, having Mario hang from the rope.  I was trying the spraying from on top

You need two hands.
I use the normal nozzel. Spray until he reaches his maximum height. Once he goes all the way back, spray again. Eventually he will start spinning WILDLY then you can stop spraying.

You can also do this with one burst from the rocket nozzle.  Turn sideways (perpendicular to the rope) and simply charge one up and let it fly.  You'll be spinning like mad!
