The developer behind Nanostray has a new game on store shelves.

Shin'en Multimedia today celebrates the release of their second Nintendo DSTM title

After their Nintendo DSTM debut title "Nanostray" Shin'en announces the release of their second Nintendo DSTM game "Miss Spider – Harvest Time Hop and Fly"

Munich, Germany – May 24, 2006 – Shin’en Multimedia, a leading developer for the Nintendo handheld platforms today announces the release of “Miss Spider – Harvest Time Hop and Fly" on the Nintendo DSTM system. The title has been developed for THE GAME FACTORY, a worldwide publisher of video and computer games based on leading international children’s characters.

“Miss Spider – Harvest Time Hop and Fly" was especially developed for a younger audience to take full advantage of the special capabilities of the Nintendo DSTM system including the touch screen and the microphone. It contains a wide variety of different game play situations, spread over more than two dozen stages.

“We are happy to see our second Nintendo DSTM title on the shelves. This proves again our position as the leading developer for the Nintendo DSTM system in Germany" said Manfred Linzner, Project Manager at Shin’en.

Wow, this came out of left field...has anyone heard anything about this game?
I was interested in Nanostray when it was released, but I just couldn't find it anywhere.
That's my opinion, not yours.

I heard about it this past weekend when I was looking up new releases for this week, but I never heard of it before that.

I really liked Nanostray; too bad they undershipped it and seemingly made it low key on purpose..

That's Majesco's fault, I highly doubt Shin'en wanted that to happen with their game.

Ooooh, this is annoying because it's a game I have no interest in but it'll no doubt have brilliant music like all Shin'en games.

I'm actually more interested in this than Nanostray. Think what you want but the young children's market presents some unique game design challenges I'd think and I'd love to see how they can be approached.

Does it suck less than their previous games?

Nanostray wasn't undershipped, considering how many copies are rotting on store shelves I'd say they estimated demand a bit too high.

I imported Nanostray because I predicted a hilariously limited release or no release at all here. It did eventually get an Australian release, I saw one copy. One.

One copy of Nanostray is still more than people want.

One. Yet unsold trash like Pokemon Dash and Animal Crossing are everywhere. Millions.

One Nanostray.
