HELP ME PLEASE!!!

just got nintendo ds and animal crossing!!! I don't know what a Wifi connection is and what i need to get it!!! I want to leave the town and get other fruit!!! any help appreciated!!!!

What kind of internet do you have? Dialup or HighSpeed broadband?
