This crosses me as one of those games which the Japanese populace will love for the novelty but the US market will go, "Meh".

Yeah, that's the best explanation I could come up with. Usually I'm more than happy to go for novelty, though (like DOAX or Rumble Roses, omg lol),  but this didn't do it for me. I think I'll still end up playing it every now and then to de-stress, though.
