Kenta Cho got a new one. You are a snake and you grow in length by smashing other snakes out of the arena using shots or ramming them (not recommended but may make for a fun challenge). You can jettisson the tail if it gets in the way but the longer the tail the higher the score multiplier. Choose wisely. Control method of choice: Dual analog for 8 way shooting (think Robotron).

I had to use the -rotatestick2 270 -reversestick2 commandline arguments to get the axises to work properly on my pad, try that if pushing up makes you shoot left and pushing left makes you shoot up. Gunroar has been updated to accept the same commands.

Got 277470 so far, I'll need to work on that a bit.
