The anti-Sonic blasts his way to stores.

SEGA SHIPS SHADOW THE HEDGEHOG

Hero or Villain? Nintendo GameCube, PlayStation 2, and Xbox Owners Decide for Themselves

SAN FRANCISCO (November 15, 2005) - SEGA® of America, Inc. today announced the release of Shadow The Hedgehog for the Nintendo GameCubeâ„¢, PlayStation®2 computer entertainment system, and the Xbox® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft. In his first solo effort, Shadow the Hedgehog takes to the streets with a huge array of weapons and vehicles in search of his true identity. Shadow has a choice to make – will he use his great powers for good or evil?

With the planet under attack from a fierce alien force that threatens the future of Westopolis, government troops are battling anyone they can't trust. In order to secure the Emeralds, Shadow must play both sides…but the path he takes will be completely up to you! Every decision you make affects Shadow's future and ultimately his destiny. Uncover the truth and discover who your friends - or foes - really are!

"By giving Shadow a game of his own, we're able offer a unique gameplay experience while expanding the boundaries of the Sonic universe," said Scott A. Steinberg, Vice President of Marketing, SEGA of America. "New play mechanics allow Shadow to wield weaponry and use vehicles, while giving players a real sense of control over the story as it unfolds – they decide if Shadow is a hero or a villain."

Featuring a branching story mode with multiple endings and a fun 2-player competitive mode, Shadow The Hedgehog is designed to offer substantial replay value. Fans will also enjoy cameos by several Sonic characters, including Sonic, Amy, Knuckles, and Dr. Eggman.

Shadow The Hedgehog is rated "E-10" for ‘Everyone age 10 and up' by the Entertainment Software Review Board, and is available at retailers nationwide for an MSRP of $49.95.

Shadow would be screwing hookers and killing them to get his cash back but he loves men instead.

Matt wrote this one too.  Perhaps he read my Sonic Heroes review and realized I was right, because I  can't think of any other explanaition.  Even if Sonic Heroes looks and plays better, it couldn't be by enough of a margin to warrant this discrepancy in the score.
