The Box art makes perfect sense to me...when you think about 80s television...or is it early 90s?

Mario is jumping into the Kart.  His hand is planted and he is spinning around to land in the seat facing forward.  I like the box art, its got style, and it is just well designed.  You can actually study the art, and find more in it than just a quick glance.

Hate the new logo, hate the box art.

The original Mario Kart logo...there was nothing wrong with that, why change it to something a 9-year-old could make in MS Paint?

Well, I think its a good art...not great, but good. It tells me "Come on, you know you want to play Mario Kart again..."

I don't know...I mean I honestly thought it was a mockup when I first saw it.  My computer art skills suck, and I know I'd be able to make that logo in an hour tops.

Step 1.  Make squarish cheesy text
Step 2.  Use black to white gradient, and in photoshop you can asctually copy the texture of metal and put a layer of that, but im too lazy to reinstall photoshop
Step3. add cheesy CG art of a racer thats not driving the cart and trying to make a cool pose lol  (Go toad!)
Step4.  ADD logo and ESRB rating
