Hey every1, after the hearing bout the new name etc this morning I put together a quick trailer for the Wii.

Theres two files on there, ones for Quicktime 7 users, and the other will work on basically any version of quicktime.

*Update*

My 2nd trailer is now online I Have uploaded it to the ftp for those that would like to see a better quality version, and I also made a couple of very slight alterations.

Very nice! Good job. Nice atmosphere created by the music that fits into what Wii is about nicely.

Starts out waaaaay too slowly, and the footage just seems random. Really picks up at the end, though, that was kinda awesome.

That rocked. You should at the very end where you have the Wii logo have "Could be Freinds" Appear under it. You've got some Mad Skillz if you just threw that together.

Edit: After watching it again that would be a great launch of a serious. First one would be "Wii: Could Be Friends." Next one would user a darker more metal song and be "Wii: Could be Enemies" and feature online. Then maybe "Wii: Could get along" showing Co-op modes and DS Connectivity. "Wii: Could have Fun" "Wii: Could be Explorers" "Wii: Could Visit History" and then there be an uber one online that would string the whole series together and ends "Wii Could!" or "Wii Should'

It's already been posted on other forums, good job getting a good trailer out there, but i'm not sure if you wanted this or not, as it seems someone else is taking the credit for it.

I really liked that. Very well done. Nintendo should pay you to use that. I've been looking at some of the ideas in this topic for ads for the wii and they're all amazing. It looks like they chose this name also because it could be so easy to advertise? as everyone knows 'plays on words' is HUGE in advertising right now. And there's just so much to be done with wii. OK I disliked it at first and I think everyone will. But once people hear it and see trailers like these then it will all just fall into place and talking about wii will be as common as talking about TV.

The Mario footage is from a clip called super mario universe from the guy who made the on video! Im going to make another trailer soon too, i liked that idea about having different ones saying stuff like Wii will be enemies etc! I dont mind if u guys show it to ppl either, and dont worry about the bandwidth its quite hefty, but yeah if some1 wants to post it on you tube they can.

Ive made another one, I was uploading it but seems like the main server is down at the moment. Also if the person who put it on you tube is going to change it, can they not put up the web link with it. Thanks.

The new one is sweet too, but it seems like the footage in it is a lot more random and doesn't really fit with Wii as well, I still like the old one better. I'm still enjoying watching both

Hopefully this is something akin to what Nintendo has up their sleeves for advertising, and if they don't they really need to steal this idea.

I wasn't too keen on the name but then I decided, "I'm going to buy the thing no matter what they call it anyway" but your trailers are just so good that I actually think I like it now. I can't wait to show these to people.

Nothing amazing, and not as good as yours, but this is the first movie i've ever made.. so i'm fairly happy with how it turned out.
