Activision Reveals Madagascar Games
« on: January 07, 2005, 10:53:16 AM »
Versions for GameCube, GBA, DS, and other systems are based on the upcoming animated film.

At the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, Activision has revealed Madagascar, a cross-platform game based on the upcoming movie.  It centers around four animals from the Central Park Zoo who have various adventures in New York City and the African island nation of Madagascar.  The console versions are being developed by Toys for Bob, while the GBA and DS versions are being handled at Vicarious Visions.

The games are scheduled for release in May.

So, will the GBA and DS versions be nearly identical?

The DS version will have 'touch screen!' instead of 'push start!' on the title screen.

Yeah, for example they're developing the game to the Doom movie... Oh, wait, they're making Doom 3 not Half-Life for the XBox.
