The ds has a clock right? Is it a 24 hour clock or the other kind?

24 hour clock, though on the main screen it also has a clock with the hour, minute, and second hands.

I would have appreciated the option for a 12 hour clock, as I hate having to figure out military time.  If it's 2:00, I want it to say 2:00 pm, not 14:00.  I don't care how easy it is to read a 24 hour clock, but I think it would have been nice to give me, the consumer and user more options to set up my DS the way I want it set up.

Military time is easy - whatever the "PM" time is, add that number to 12 to figure it out. For example 1 PM is 13:00 (or 12+1), 8 PM is 20:00 (or 12+8).

Then again, I had to learn the 24 hour clock when I worked as a taxi dispatcher a few years ago. That "knowledge" has carried over into my current position with a broadcast media corporation, where we receive data with military time attached.
