How do you catch nosepass and Feebass??
« on: August 09, 2004, 01:46:52 AM »
I'm sorry if this has been asked before but would someone please give me some pointers on how to catch a nosepass and a feebass.  I realise that it is probably just luck of the draw as to what appears, but is there any little technique or something that can be done to make them slightly more common to appear?  Cheers.

I caught Nosepass easily by just weakening him with water and throwing a time ball at him.(You know the ball that gets stronger each turn that passes)

If that doesn't work, trade.

I actually meant finding it in the granite cave.  Is it on a certain level of the cave? do you have to do anything like break rocks or anything to make it appear more often??

With regards to feebass,  I heard that the dewford town saying has a bearing on the location of tiles that increase the chances of feebass appearing. Is this true??

To get nosepass, you have to break the rocks in the cave, they arne't that hard to find.

Feebas though... well, that is a complete and total PAIN.

Alright, you know the area where feebas appears on the map?  that whole large watery section... Well, Feebas itself will show up on *one* square in that area at a time.  Basicly, you have to start surfing, move one square, fish, move another square, fish, move another square, fish etc. all the way up the entire gigantic area.  Its repetive, its a pain, it takes forever.... Also, its best not to take a break while doing this, as many things affect the location of that lucky feebas square and you don't want to change its location halfway.

For a Milotic, its almost worth it.

Just remember htat once you catch a single feebas, the same square will keep producing htem, so keep fishing till you have enough females to breed them into an infinite supply.

just to clarify... "the large watery section" is the route south-west of Fortree City.

The only thing worse than looking for feebas is searching for shinies. 26 hrs and still no shiny Gastly. Uggh.

EDIT: Also I would fish at least twice in each square as other pokémon do appear in Feebas squares
