Is that the SNES game? It's coming to GBA?

What about that other Tales, the one that had makeshift pictures of Lloyd and Kratos and co.? That one looked interesting...

I just checked my latest Nintendo Power (the January issue, volume 187, with with a big white NDS cover) and all I could find was that "Tales of Phantasia" and "Tales of the World: Narikiri Dungeon 2" were listed in the GBA section of the Game Watch Forecast page.

They've both been there for at least a year now. I don't think it means anything.

Narikiri Dungeon 3 (the one with Symphonia characters, it's not placeholder art, it's a "crossover" game) should be coming out in Japan in January.

Narikiri Dungeon 2 (the one NP seems to be waiting for) came out in Japan back in October 2002.

I don't think we're going to be getting any of them. Namco sucks balls when it comes to their American releases. I suggest illegal bootlegs.

More than a year ago, DarkForce wrote on DeJap's website (DeJap is the group that fan-translated the SNES version)

On a side note, I contacted Namco to ask if they would let us port and translate the new GBA version of ToP legitimately for a North American release. I was told a flat out "No." by their localization manager. Reason: head office didn't yet feel that ToP was suitable for English speaking audiences (i.e. they wouldn't make enough money from it); and then I was told even if they did want to translate it they would never let us do it. Heh... Stupid Namco.

I just figured I'd mention it for anyone who hasn't seen it yet.

Doesn't Tales of Phantasia have some naughty stuff in it? You know what I mean. And what about that 'tiger' joke? ^_^

I still have the cartridge lying somewhere, can't read Japanese though...

Tigers are frail, cuddly little kittens deep down inside.  But that doesn't mean Arche won't claw you while --
