GoldenEye: Rogue Agent Goes Gold
« on: November 11, 2004, 07:54:54 PM »
Well, duh.  (Actually, that means the game is ready for duplication and will ship out soon.)

Whether or not you think the game is a rip-off of the N64 legend or you're a 007 junkie all the way, you'll be pleased to know that EA's newest game based off of the world of James Bond is gold, and will be shipped just in time for Thanksgiving and the holiday rush.

In GoldenEye: Rogue Agent, you take on the role of a Bond bad guy, and see how things work on the evil side of the coin.  Take the game's dual-wielding weapon system or melee combat system for a test drive through the game's 20 missions, or through 20 multiplayer maps with deathmatch and team-based games.

You'll encounter villians and Bond girls from Bond's travels, including the likes of Xenia Onatopp, Dr. No, Goldfinger, Oddjob, Scaramanga, and Pussy Galore.  You'll also get a chance to visit locales made famous by Bond, like top of the Golden Gate Bridge from A View to a Kill, the Pyramids from The Spy who Loved Me, and the Volcano Lair from You Only Live Twice.

Christopher Lee (Scaramanga in The Man With the Golden Gun) and Judi Dench (M, head of MI6) will be lending their voice talents to the game, and DJ Paul Oakenfold heads up the original score.

GoldenEye: Rogue Agent will be released on November 22.

For those who care, this game was NOT developed by the Everything Or Nothing team, those were busy on LOTR Third Age.
