iQue - how is it doing?
« on: October 21, 2004, 10:09:48 AM »
Does anyone have any information on how well the iQue is performing in China?  Is it selling at all?  If so, are people buying games, or have they found a way to pirate them?  How many systems have sold?  How many games?  Have any new games been released since launch?

I haven't anything about this system since the beginning of the year.  True, the USA isn't the target market, but with this wonderful thing they call the Internet, you'd think I'd be able to find something.  Nope.  Nothing.  Nada.  Zip.  Zilch.

I went to www.ique.com to see if I could find anything, but everything's in Japanese, so it doesn't give me much information.  I see what looks to be the original Paper Mario, Ocarina of Time, Mario Kart 64, F-Zero 64, and (most likely) Yoshi's Story.  I can't remember if these were available at launch, or if they're new.  Are any new games going to be created for the system, or only Nintendo 64 ports?

I remember hearing rumors going around that the system was going to be released outside of China.  Is this true, or was this just wishful thinking?

Any help?
Why must all things be so bright? Why can things not appear only in hues of brown! I am so serious about this! Dull colors are the future! The next generation! I will never accept a world with such bright colors! It is far too childish! I will rage against your cheery palette with my last breath!
