Camp Hyrule is Coming
« on: July 01, 2004, 07:20:56 PM »
Gentlemen, start your web browers.

Nintendo's online summer camp is back for more fun! This will be the 10th year Nintendo has done Camp Hyrule. The idea is simple. Nintendo has created a virtual summer camp where fans can hang out and chat with each other. There are also all sorts of contests and games to play. This year's camp will start on August 16th. There is currently no indication of its ending date. In the past camp has run for a week.

Registration for Camp Hyrule 2004 begins on July 27th and ends July 29th. You can sign up right at the camp website. Campers are placed into virtual cabins and compete aganist each other to determine which is the best.

I loved Camp Hyrule 2003, and I think this one is going to be just as great. Last year, I was in Cabin 1, AKA Pipe House. Last year, I actually won the Tingle Award(funniest camper) because my cabin did this "group voting" thing where everyone in the cabin voted for each person in the cabin who wanted to win a certain award, and I opted for it. Also, I think I set the record for that fishing game they have in camp each year, since I got to like level 100 something, and after a while the game just doesn't get any harder...

Does anyone know if my name was posted up someplace for winning the Tingle Award/Getting an incredibly high score in the fishing game?
