Japanese drummers can get their hands on both song discs and the Konga in one lovely package.

On July 1, when Nintendo releases Donkey Konga 2: Hit Song Parade in Japan, the second song disc for Donkey Konga, they will also be releasing a special bundle set.

The set will contain the original (Japanese) Donkey Konga disc, the Donkey Konga 2 disc, and the bongo drums all packed up in one box, for the amazing price of Â¥7,000, or around $65.  For the many Japanese that helped make the original game so successful, they can pick up the second disc alone for a measly Â¥4,500 ($40).

Although many of the songs on both discs will be included in the U.S. release of Donkey Konga this September, all of the songs exclusive to Japan won't be, which makes the bundle an enticing deal to those who haven't imported yet.  You might want to give your favorite importer a ring in the first week of July if you're interested.

Why don't they merge both games so people can switch between both quickly? Or does that not fit on one disk?

Because, that would require an extra disc that doesn't need to be made.  The first one came out, and then the second one came out.  If you make another with both in one, it creates a hassle.  No point.
