They're reportedly big fans of Fallout so I'd wager they won't goober it up too much. I should give Morrowind a try in the meantime.
I can put up happily with the random battles SoA and FFII, and I've played Baldur's Gate 2 through several times, but bloody hell: the first person perspective fights in Morrowind were too much even for me. Morrowind gets a lot of praise, but I'd say it's a no-go for most gamers.
Worse, they've screwed up the physics engine to a point where finding bugs in the jumping properties of buildings will give you such a huge advantage whilst palying the game. In fact, almost all of that game is a bug (even when it doesn't crash.) Doing bad things then avoiding punishment is just as easy.
The sheer volume of design work that went into the game, however, is enough to make it a spectactular sight at times. I mean, there is nothing in any other game like what I've seen in Morrowind. If they pull their crap toether with regards to their engine, they could pull off a spectactular Fallout title.
Good luck with Morrowind.
