Yeah, that's what I'm talking about. I usually use your method, or doing a quick skip, but it doesn't work well at all. :\

Don't pass your opinion off as fact. Link to me an offical reliable source (not a lame 12 year old) that XBOX DDR Ultramix isn't as good as PS2 DDR.

I heard that opinions can be discerned from facts easily without even plainly labeling them . As a multi-year playing 10-footing nerd, er, what mouseclicker said. Here's my case:
- Ultramix DROPS FRAMES OF ANIMATION unless you turn off background movies entirely. Probably something only hyper experts will notice, but it drives me nuts.
- It doesn't have oni or nonstop mode. Blah.
- It doesn't have oni/challenge steps. (which pretty much ruins the fact that it has Colors on it)
- The new exclusive songs aren't as good as PS2's Max1 and Max2. Sure, this is subjective, but Sandstorm, I Like To Move It, Heaven, Days Go By, and Take Me Away are better than Castles in the Sky and Metal Gear Mission R and whatever I forgot, and I think this is popular opinion. It's also mega crappy that the 10 foot in Ultramix is only Max300 again. They should have upped the ante and brought in PARANOiA Survivor, Legend of Max, PARANOiA Respect, or MAX Period instead of a song that the U.S. already had a long time ago.

dancemania best of hardcore and speed g2 have alot of great songs
but well there only on the CD's
screw this punk rock stuff and american mainstream garbage
bring back QUALITY, not bad songs with lame extra effects and freezes and mindless stupid extra's

I wouldn't want DDR on a console anyways...

I have StepMania on my laptop and that is my DDR machine.  I just TV-Out it to my big screen and I am set.  I have over 700 songs, and my Stepmania directory is like 1.3gb... so the space argument is retarded.  They could easily put at least 300 songs on a Gamecube disc.

well Nintendo let Namco codevelop Star Fox 2, Donkey Konga, let Namco use Link in Cube version of soul calibur, Lets Capcom co develop GBA zelda, let Konami use Silicon Knights to make MGS:TT and Miyamotto help EA with connectivity codeing in the games and connectivity ideas .  So in theory Nintendo could offer really alot of insentives to any 3rd party really.

Edit: Forgot all about the Q Fund  that lead to Square-Enix make games on Nintendo platforms after a decade of being Sony exclusive. Silly me
