Powered by ATI (I want to buy your sticker)
« on: December 09, 2003, 06:27:13 PM »
I will pay for the sticker + Shipping via paypal for the first person willing to sell me a "powered by ATI" sticker from their GameCube for a reasonable price.

You do NOT need a credit card to recieve money for this.

I just want the sticker so I can stick it to my PC case.  As I bought an OEM Radeon about a month ago, I am in need of a case sticker.    I cannot think of a better way of signifying that I do in fact have a 100% nVidia free PC.  And I really don't want to take the sticker off my GameCube.

Sounds like a good excuse to get a backup GameCube to me.
They're what, $99 with the Zelda disc these days? I don't feel like ripping my precious sticker off my precious GameCube located near my precious TV.

Do you have to buy it straight from ATI to get the sticker, because my Radeon 9600 Pro didn't come with a sticker of any sort. And alas! I cannot claim the same as you, that my computer is 100% nVidia free- my motherboard has an nForce 2 chipset. Aside from all that, though, I'm sure you could make your own sticker, Ninja, for less money, too.

I really don't know Mouse.  I got a sticker with my sound card (Audigy 2), and my last CPU came with a sticker (Celeron 600).  But my OEM Sapphire Radeon 9600 Pro did not.

And yeah, I know that I could make my own sticker... but I really want a real one.  I figure if someone here doesn't mind parting with their sticker for a bit of money, I would be glad to pay it.

I would sell you mine, but I would demand a game instead of cash. I also don't do paypal and I don't need the cash.

100% nVidia free isn't hard to archieve. Go for 100% Microsoft free!

grey, you should know as well as anybody here, that this post does't belong in the gamecube section of the board.  it should go in general chat.  for shame.
Why must all things be so bright? Why can things not appear only in hues of brown! I am so serious about this! Dull colors are the future! The next generation! I will never accept a world with such bright colors! It is far too childish! I will rage against your cheery palette with my last breath!

Well, I would like to go Microsoft free, but that's just not practical for me right now.  Maybe at some point in the future though, as I REALLY do think that Linux would be better for the most part for someone like me.  I just need to find time to make some space on my hard drive for my Linux partition again.

Besides, I have sort of had distaste in my mouth for nVidia ever since they drove 3dfx out of business.  (I still have a Voodoo2 in my PC.  )

Hmmmm... now that's a toughie.  What game would interest you?  I don't want to pay TOO much, so it would have to be something I could find for cheap...

Here's a bubble "Powered by ATI" case badge; it's only $3.00.  If you'd want the GameCube sticker I could try to take it off of mine...  If someone else does it use a razorblade to hopefully keep the sticker in top condition (just a suggestion).

I know it's not a "Powered by ATI" case badge, but this place sells a number of other alternative case badges if you're interested.

manunited, I was doing some sober thinking after making this alcohol induced post, and I think I am going to go with Ghost's idea.  But I really and truly thank you for your kind offer.  It's greatly appreciated.
