Topic: I was bored

So I drew this.



Even without looking at the filename it should be fairly obvious what I was thinking. Makes me wish there was a "console wars" videogame where the different 'tans go out and fight each other. That way we could settle those "my console beats your console" arguments fairly quickly.

I guess I'm just slow because I didn't know what you were trying to accomplish until I looked the file name.  Why the purple?  I think that's what threw me off.

MUGEN is dead IIRC (the latest version's license expired some years ago) and Fighter Maker isn't an option for us non-japanese people but I doubt cobbling together a fighting game engine is difficult (could even use Pygame for that and then it gets really trivial). The problem is that I can't sprite well. And someone has to draw backgrounds. If this was a boardwide project (nudge nudge wink wink)...

vudu: I thought the initial Rev prototype shown was that colour. Guess it was more blue than GC purple.

The colors that have been seen are black, white, silver, green, and red...(Black was the one shown at E3...)

I'd enjoy participating, but I can't do anything relatively well, so I guess I'm out.

Oh, except one thing: I've long had pictures of what the various consoles look like as people in my head.

GameCube is an older woman, Xbox 360 is an effeminate man, etc. Maybe I'll post pictures later.
