reviews for games
« on: August 25, 2003, 02:18:14 AM »
Why can't you guys let us know in the header of a review if it is for the gamecube or GBA?

I dont own a GBA, and have no need to read a review for games on it, and in most cases you have to read half ther review to find out.

With the server being so slow this would save us a great deal of time.

I dont mean to bitch about this but it is a real simple request.

Also, why are there so little reviews on this site, especially for the cube. You guys do a great job reviewing games and I for one would like to see more of it, especially third party titles.

Thanks

There are a couple we missed and/or were late getting to, but we reviewed most of the games released this summer.  Third-party software is a bit more difficult to track down and account for than the first-party stuff, but we are trying to get it all.  If you really like reviews, just wait...we're about to have a flood of them.  It's the fall rush!

Johnny

So will you be stating the system in the header from now on?

Maybe in the next version of the site, but it's probably not very feasible at this time.  Sorry.  It won't hurt you too much to just click back if it's not what you expected.

The problem is that on reviews without screenshots you don't notice on first glance what system it is. Often you have to read through the whole review and watch for all the little hints to find out what system it's for.

You can just click on the game title at the top to go to the profile too.  You don't have to read it all first.

It does hurt if the page takes 11 minutes to load.
