Tactics Ogre official site
« on: August 04, 2003, 12:21:40 PM »
I really can't get enough of this game, I just found the official site
if you're looking for a great GBA game, check out this site! Tactics Ogre!

if you don't believe me when i say it's good just look at this:

"Now Rated 'A' "Tactics Ogre is one of the best RPGs available for any system and one of the best reasons to own a GameBoy Advance. It's a must-play for RPG fans." - GameNow

"Tactics is everything a fantasy strategy-RPG should be and more." - EGM

"Tactics Ogre rocks the GBA party that rocks my body." - Game Informer

"5/5 PLAY Rating" - PLAY Magazine

"...a strategy junkie's dream come true." - EGM

"The strategy element of Tactics Ogre is nothing short of amazing." - Nintendo Power

"...rich, long, rewarding, and insanely addictive." - GamePro

OH! This is pretty much my favorite game on th GBA. It's so fickin' addictive and SO fun, just like GamePro said. In fact now I'm sorry I missed Ogre Battle 64. Meh. I'll pick it up at GameStop for like $10. I have a question. It seems obvious but I don't know: Is the Ogre Saga Nintendo exclusive? I haven't seen any Ogre's on PS2, but then again, MegaMan's been flooding Nintendo and has one recent game for PS2.
has 6 gmail invites. wants to rid himself of them. email for gmail.

Quest and the Ogre Battle Team used to be very pro-Nintendo, but they weren't entirely "exclusive" (they did port the first two games to the PSX, and they made an Ogre Battle side story for the Neo Geo Pocket Color).

But Square bought up Quest about a year ago, and set the Ogre Battle Team to work making Final Fantasy Tactics Advance.

So Square owns Ogre Battle now, and could make it for any system they wanted. But I'm thinking they'll most likely just stick to FFT games (since they like their own brand better). And the Ogre Battle Team might just be part of an unnoficial new "Nintendo Division" inside Square. But we really don't know what will happen.
Poor people should eat wheat!
I'm about to go punk up some 3rd parties so they don't release games on other hardware, ciao!
