Yep it is.  And just for future references, questions about thread topics should go into the PGC Discussion thread.  Afterall, it is a question about the site .

Well there is a reason why those guidlines are in place.  It will become a hate thread in about 10 minutes.  We have people from all over the globe on these forums, and disagreements can get ugly when speaking on different cultures, governments, and so on....

Yep.  I if this doesn't get locked by the 10th post it'll probably turn into a hate filled thread.  Just like all the others that were over at ezboards and here too.

The political rule is the greatest rule ever....  I'm so glad I don't have to read all of the people's crap who don't agree with me, just as I'm sure they are glad they don't have to read my crap.  =)

Yeah, I wouldn't be surprised if we could get into heated debates even among the staff.  The trouble with having those debates in a public forum is that since you don't know these people, you don't respect what most of them have to say.  So there's really not so much discussion as grand-standing.

Maybe from a purely strategical discussion it would be alright. Red base, kill everyone, get the flag back

So few wars aren't politically motivated nowadays, anyway. Besides, the only war that anyone would be debating is the situation with Iraq, which is almost entirely politcal.

The only non-political war is a holy war, but even those are primarily motivated by economy.
