Question about my gamecube!

Hi all,

I just bought a brand new GameCube console(retail) and I noticed there
have some cracked spots on top of it.  Did I get a defective one or.....?

If you look closely at most Cubes, you'll find a sort of crazing of the plastic....which looks like tiny cracks and/or swirls in the plastic. IF that's what you're seeing, they aren't to worry about at all.

thats caused from towels, they corrode the plastic

its the molds that they use Nintendo commented on this issue at launch.

i wouldn't have even noticed those if they wern't circled

in those pics your cube looks blue, not homo-erotic purple

I don't think it's really that bad and I wouldn't have been able to tell if u didn't circle it also damn what kind of color is that. it looks blue. that can't be indigo or black or platinum. What the hell color is it I  want one!

Most of those don't seem too bad, but I'm not sure what caused them.  I couldn't even see the ones on the last link.
