Can you dig it?

It took the Wii U three years to get Minecraft, but the Switch will get it in under three months.

The multi-billion dollar construction sim will launch on the Switch eShop on May 11 in North America and 12 May for Europe and Japan with a retail release to follow. As with other versions, the Switch version will support four player local play including tabletop mode and eight-player online, plus contain the Super Mario Mash-Up pack.

Sweet! I'm gonna hold out for the Physical release!
Carmine Red, Associate Editor

A glooming peace this morning with it brings;
The sun, for sorrow, will not show his head:
Go hence, to have more talk of these sad things;
Some shall be pardon'd, and some punished:
For never was a story of more woe
Than this of Sega and her Mashiro.

Good on the Switch for getting it early in its lifespan. Curious to see how well this will sell on it.

I'm curious which version of the game it will be. I certainly hope it's the PS4 / XBONE version and not the one on Xbox 360 / PS3 / Wii U, because the worlds are pretty small and limited on those versions.
