Those who pre-order Factor 5’s next Rogue Leader game will get an extra little something.

Anxious Star Wars fans will not have to wait until October 13th to get their hands on Factor 5 and LucasArts’ upcoming GameCube title, Rogue Leader III: Rebel Strike!  Starting in September, gamers who reserve their copy will receive a free GameCube demo disc featuring the Hoth mission, fully playable.  Also on the disc will be a trailer for Rebel Strike, as well as Lucas Arts’ Gladius.  To sweeten the deal, LucasArts is even including an emulated version of the 1982 Star Wars arcade game!

Man I hope I'm getting credit (not that it worth anything) for this one. I submitted it in mid afternoon PST. Either way, they better not just accept pre-orders that start in Sept., I put in my pre-order this afternoon after hearing this and the ign 10% coupon.

Doh!! You have any idea if they gonna honor current pre-orders? Or will we have to cancel and redo it in a month? That other info I sent on Mario Golf any help to you guys?

Oooh!  Me wants VERY much.  I was going to wait a while on buying it, but I guess I will be pre-ordering it right away this time.  

Julian Eggebrecht said in an interview once that the old vector graphics Star Wars Arcade Game was much of the inspiration behind Rogue Leader.  I could really see the similarities myself, and I am very pleased that I can finally own an "officially legal" copy of the game.
