Anyone else got physical version? I just got mine (don't laugh, yeah it takes THAT long to ship to my country).

Reason i'm asking is because, because my copy is damaged:

It's like someone tried to rip the lower part of the magazine with his hands. I wonder if that's production issue or it was damaged in delivery. Anyone else has that?

Also i don't feel like binding is robust enough. I'm afraid to unfold it fully, it feels like if i do it all the way it will just break apart.

Anyway, as to actual content, i've just started but it looks great. I'm glad i didn't read it in digital form back when i bought. It's nicer to read it on paper, defects or not.

Also, sorry Ronnie but Dark Olimar was already done, by one of the NF guys even.

That sucks. I'd contact MagCloud and see if they'll send you a replacement. I've seen a few other people who received torn covers,  but nothing as bad as that. Thankfully, we'll be going with a dedicated publisher soon.

After not getting several issues (post service here is crap), i randomly found september/october issue in my box yesterday.

Wow, it got so much better since issue 1! Tons of great artwork.

Too bad it's mostly about Pokemon and i know nothing about it to appreciate articles.

So.... necrothread bump but...

Is anyone interested in a free year 2 physical+digital combo subscription of NF Magazine?

I've already backed the Kickstarter, but I'm looking for three more people who want physical subscriptions of this so I have an excuse to pledge to higher tiers. I need some volunteers to take the extra physical+digital subscriptions from those higher tiers take off my hands!

Seriously? If being in Canada isn't a limiting factor, I'd love to get physical copies to share with my nephews. That said - being in Canada usually *is* a limiting factor.  :)

Other than Car and Driver, I don't have any Mags coming to the house. Count me in.

I'd pitched but i already pledged for physical version.

NF is pretty cool, i found myself rereading issues i have last week and finding articles i missed completely when i got it.

Woah, ok, I guess I got my three!

Ejamer, I'll check what it takes to get it sent to Canada and get back to you!

If it doesn't fly, that's not a problem. Trust me: I would fully understand!

Regardless, this is a cool option and the pricing for a year subscription is much more appealing (especially if you live in the US) than the first year was.  Anyone curious should hit up the Kickstarter link and see if this is something that fits your budget!

Forgot to update you ejamer, but the Canadian shipping won't be a problem. Sorry Phil, I don't think they have a 5 subscription tier unfortunately.

I went for one of the $50 tiers, cuz I'm old fashioned like that and I covet the physical magazine.  And the free game.

I think this is a very...convenient way of doing things for me.  But I'm wondering...would Kickstarter frown on this whole thing, since it's not really a crowdfunding exercise as much as it is....a subscription drive.

Again, I am a happy "backer."  Not knocking it.  But I'm really more of a "subscriber" am I not?

Oh yeah, I know I have 2 sealed copies of that game.   1 is for trading.  But people who collect Amiibos?  They really have a problem!

Soren, ejamer, Nile Boogie Returns, can y'all private message me the addresses where you want to receive the physical magazine at? Also e-mail addresses if you want to get your digital issues in PDF form, or let me know if you prefer the alternative of through the apple iPad newsstand app.

If somebody doesn't get back to you, I'd love to get a copy. ;)

I might get a subscription for my sister since she loved getting Nintendo Power back in the day. There is something nice about a physical magazine.
