Getting ahead of some upcoming bundles.

Although they'll be coming in bundle form soon, some Wii U retail games have had their price reduced on the NA eShop effective today.

Captain Toad Treasure Tracker, Mario Party 10 and Yoshi's Woolly World are all now showing prices of US$29.99 or C$39.99. This is a $10/$5 drop for Captain Toad, and a $20 drop for Woolly World and Mario Party 10.

All three games are slated to receive new retail bundles on September 9 that include a compatible amiibo for $39.99/$49.99.

Nice. This is why I stopped buying Wii U games. Lately, they just all seem to be getting slashed in price if you wait long enough which is normally unusual for Nintendo. I'll be picking up a copy of Yoshi's Woolly World now.

I think it's mainly because they have no real title to sell this holiday season and with the NX just around the corner, they needed something to try to spur sales of any kind.

Woolly World is a steal at that price.

Also, when is the Devil's Third price cut?

End of June, as I recall.

It's actually typical of any system at the end of its life, Nintendo ones included. Time for a fire sale. Everything must go!
