Finally, Atlus has announced the next Shin Megami Tensei IV game outside of Japan.

Shin Megami Tensei IV: Apocalypse will release in North America this summer, for US$49.99/CA$64.99. The story, which overlaps the original Shin Megami Tensei IV story, promises over 450 demons and several human partners.

Other classic Shin Megami Tensei mechanics such as Press Turn will return from the base game.

Love this battle system, it's so simple yet demands that you master it and grinding won't help. So satisfying I can't wait.

I really hope Amazon brings back the 30% off pre-orders promotion for E3 this year, cuz I don't see any realistic scenario where I can stop myself from paying $65 to play this at launch if they don't. Hopefully the EU release isn't too far behind either.

I'm hoping for another righteous first run edition- SMTIV's was absolutely delightful.

I love Atlus.
