North American 3DS owners will be able to make their system sound like classic Sega gear in the months ahead.

Sega of America confirmed that the hardware themes that first released in today's download PR - the Genesis and Game Gear - will be joined by six other bits of Sega hardware in the months to come. The themes will come out in Europe, but the date was not announced for the first release.

The themes will be released in the following order:

• Sega Master System
• Sega Mark III
• Sega Saturn
• Hi-Tech Sega (80s arcade)
• Sega SG-1000
• Sega Dreamcast

Heh.. Yeah, I realize this is 15 years late, but I'd call that being the dominant video game hardware company if they eventually find a way to leech their own console names onto their competitor's consoles. LONG LIVE SEGA! XD
