PC Technical Help
« on: June 28, 2003, 12:11:04 PM »
I recently changed from Microsoft XP to ME on my gateway PC, being that I like ME more.  Anyway, I have ran into some trouble.  My color pallet is limited to 16 now.  I cant seem to find out why it did that.  Everything else works fine, but my color pallet is horribly small.  Anyone have some info that they can share on what might need to be done?

Remove the virus labelled ME by reformatting, and then throw your hard drive in a bucket with some gasoline and light a match.  That operating system is one of the biggest evils ever created by Microsoft.  It might not hurt to hire an exorcist either.  Make sure that whatever CD holds the ME virus is also quarantined, then blasted into space.

Easy, since ME is older, it most likely didn't detect your video card drivers right. Or something.
I had that problem when I reinstalled ME.

Windows installed its default drivers, and it limited me to 256 colours and 640 X 480. I just went to Nvidia's website and got the latest update. Crisis over.

Just get a video card update from whoever the hell manufactured it. Or go back to XP. CHOOSE. NOW.
