THQ has announced a new Star Wars game called Flight of the Falcon for GBA.  

THQ ANNOUNCES STAR WARS: FLIGHT OF THE FALCON FOR GAME BOY ADVANCE


 Pilot the Millennium Falcon in a Battle Against the Empire


 CALABASAS HILLS, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 23, 2003--THQ(R) Inc. (Nasdaq:THQI) today announced Star Wars(R): Flight of the Falcon(TM) for Game Boy(R) Advance. Flight of the Falcon is scheduled for release during summer 2003.

Is this another crappy 3D game from THQ or something? Because all the ones that THQ has produced are either below average or terrible. I have no hopes for this title. Period.

Damn, that's a harsh thing to say. But that's your opinion...

The press release says that LucasArts will be devoloping this project, you can't really badmouth them, they're a good company, and who better to do a Star Wars game than the company close to George Lucas himself? The only complaint I've got is that Nintendo has done and redone and reredone the original triology (Rogue Squadron 3 comes to mind) while other platforms are taking the StarWars universe beyond the movies, prequels and novels. I hate to steal one liners but "Throw me a friggin' bone here!"
