Sonic powers up to ready himself for his latest adventure in October.

Sonic Lost World will be launching across Europe for Wii U and Nintendo 3DS on October 18.

Sega released a new trailer for the game today showing off some of the new Wisp powers Sonic can use. One lets him fly and boost as a red bird, one lets him float and destroy enemies and terrain around him, and another turns him into a musical note that can traverse areas by bouncing off other notes along a specific path. Some powers from the Wii game Sonic Colors are returning, including the Drill, Rocket and Laser.

The games will be coming to the US on October 22.
