Episode 92: JRPG4EVER
« on: July 07, 2013, 11:15:50 AM »

Celebrate the good ol' USA with Project X Zone and Shin Megami Tensei IV.

This week's show, albeit a little shorter thanks to the Fourth of July, is packed with all the JRPG info you could ever need.

First, Zach and Scott rave about the insane Project X Zone, a tactical RPG featuring characters from Namco, Capcom, and Sega franchises. After that, Neal and Justin offer their thoughts about the first few hours of Shin Megami Tensei IV, a game both of them have been playing.

As always, you can click here to send us your listener mail. Enjoy this week's holiday-sized episode, and we'll be back next week with another full show!

Good SMTIV discussion!

I'm only about 3 hours into the game, and I haven't bumped the difficulty down yet. I probably will eventually, but right now after finding the game a bit too punishing for my tastes, I'm at a level I'm comfortable with after some light grinding and demon-fusing.

Combine in the array of Challenge Quests you pile on as you get going and you can kind of build your own curve by forging ahead in the main quest or exploring every nook and cranny and doing side quests.

I'm now 17-ish hours in and loving it.

STAY TUNED FOR SMTIV LOVEFEST PART 2.
And the review, Wednesday at noon PT.
