Pokémon might be the only Nintendo franchise big enough to nab it's own trade show.

Pokémon is going to have a special trade show event, dubbed Pokémon Game Show, on August 17 and 18 in Japan.

The event, which is hosted at the Tokyo Big Sight location, will give gamers a chance to try out the upcoming Pokémon X/Y, a new arcade game called Pokémon Tretta and the Pokémon Card game.

Details about the show are currently a little vague, but the Pokémon Company plans to release more information about the event at some point in July.

Pokémon X and Pokémon Y are set for a worldwide release on October 12.
