One of the hardest Mario titles in history hits the 3DS VC next week.

Super Mario Bros. 2, known as Super Mario Bros.: The Lost Levels outside of Japan, will be released on the Nintendo 3DS eShop in Japan on July 25 for 500 yen.

This marks the second first-party non-Ambassador program Famicom game to be released on the eShop in Japan. Last week, gamers saw the first third-party Famicom title released on the service with Rockman (Mega Man) from Capcom. There are currently eight Famicom and Famicom Disk System titles available to purchase in Japan.

    • You're on it
And a disclaimer that says "If you fling your 3DS across the room, tough crap" or the Japanese equivalent.
