Even Australia is getting a better deal than Europe (at least in relation to their video game market - I'm not sure of the exchange rate). I really, really hope the retailers haven't been told the wholesale price of the console yet and are just preparing for the worst by offering ridiculously high pre-order prices.

It is a surprisingly good deal. Only $50 more than the US price. Yay. (he says unenthusiastically)

Also... any mention of the charger being bundled? I see 4GB SD card, but charger... no.
