Any news on the SD card Adapter?

Nope. These titles were already well along in development when the SD Card was announced. Don't expect anything to use it until the next batch of games starts development at the end or so of this year. IE you should expect 2004 titles to use it...

Couldn't they program it to be able to read the games already released? Don't think it would be too hard.

It can be used as a memory card but there are other things that its ment to do. The first title that will use the SD card is Animal Forest 2. (Fully)

And in all reality I don't think they will be any of such announcements at E3. They will organize some sort of press conference much like the ones they had to announce the exclusive deals.
