Nintendo UK has announced a new deal with internet company Boingo Wireless Inc. to offer hotspot access at some airports at the United Kingdom.

When near one of these hotspots, the 3DS will automatically connect to it, allowing the player to engage in SpotPass activities as well as browse for content in the eShop and browse the internet through the system's browser. Some of the participating airports in the United Kingdom include London Heathrow, London Gatwick and London Stansted, as well as Southampton, Glasgow, Edinburgh and Aberdeen.

The deal follows a similar one with Boingo Wireless in the US.

Noooo!

When people are connected to the internet, you can't streetpass them! All those international streetpasses, gone!
