Didn't they mention using barcodes at first, then moving on to another method later?

What I extrapolated from what they said in the briefing was,
-the eShop will have a "barcode scan" button added, so you purchase something and be presented with a barcode.
-you scan in the code on your 3DS and it starts downloading, you will also be able to close your 3DS before it's finished and it will continue downloading.

Exciting when they said it would be useful for "large downloads". Full retail games? Massive Shop games?
Can't wait to find out.

Hopefully, the limited-play demos mean that they are available indefinitely as opposed to WiiWare demos which are generally up for only a month.

I actually hope they mimic the Phone 7 model.  Everything has a demo or is free.
Need a Personal NonCitizen-Magical-Elf-Boy-Child-Game-Abused-King-Kratos-Play-Thing Crimm Unmaker-of-Worlds-Hunter-Of-Boxes
so, I don't have to edit as Much.

Having an browser based shop where you can queue downloads to start on your 3DS would be hot.
Would make entering credit card details etc a lot easier....heck this is one step away from having an account based system that we all want! Good going Nintendo, keep it up with this thought process, you're getting there!

I also personally hope they call it eShop on the Wii U and make this a universal account thing.

I have been always thinking same, Wii U needs also eShop
