Nintendo announced today that Resident Evil Revelations will launch January 27, 2012 in Europe, followed shortly by a North American release on February 7.

Resident Evil Revelations is a new installment in the series, set between the events Resident Evil 4 and Resident Evil 5. The story follows Jill Valentine and Chris Redfield on their search for the truth about the Veltro terrorist organization and the T-Abyss virus outbreak.

I can't wait! And the date makes me happier as well! I was under the impression that it wouldn't be out till around the end of 2012, but now it's at the beginning, SWEET!!!!! If the the game os played like Resident Evil: The Mercenaries 3D like the I was told, (in addition to the extra circle pad attachment), then I'm gonna love this game!

Boo-yah! I'm super excited for this, especially after the fun I had with Mercenaries.

People had fun with Mercenaries? :p Just kidding, although that game does look fun if you get it for cheap.
