Mutant Mudds is Renegade Kid's first foray onto the 3DS's eShop. Originally meant to be a DS release, then a DSiWare game, Mutant Mudds is an action platformer starring Maximilian, a young boy whose destiny is to destroy his enemies, the Mutant Mudds.

The gameplay may look like a classic platformer, but players can switch between the foreground and background for a neat 3D effect as well as additional challenges, similar to the classic Virtual Boy game, Wario Land. Renegade Kid was kind enough to share with us some screenshots of the game, along with some comments from the developers.

Mutant Mudds is slated for a December release in Europe. Renegade Kid hopes to release the game in North America at the same time.
