Just jam to these eShop and DSiWare releases.

http://www.nintendoworldreport.com/news/27141

Nintendo's download game services have been updated with seven new games this week.

The 3DS eShop got two classic Game Boy games: Jaleco's Fortified Zone, a top-down shooter starring a pair of secret agents originally released in 1991 and Taito's Qix, a game in which players must capture flying lightning bolts by enclosing them in a square.

For both the eShop and DSiWare four new games have been added. The first of these is Jewel Keepers: Easter Island, a puzzle game where players line up three pieces of the same color in order to make them disappear off the board.

Make Up & Style is the second title for the eShop and DSiWare, a make up simulator in which players create a digital 3D face and use it to practice make up upon, using the stylus to apply make up and create designs.

The third game for the eShop and DSiWare is Roller Angels, a platforming game starring these roller girls. Each girl has a different ability that helps them race across the stage as well as create graffiti.

The fourth and final DSiWare and eShop game for this week is Farm Frenzy, a farm arcade simulator from Alawar Entertainment. Players must care for the animals in the most effective way possible.

Only one WiiWare game today: Just Jam. The title is a music maker where players can create live music, putting them in control of different parts of the band with the Wii Remote.

I'm really enjoying Fortified Zone, but is it just me, or is it a tad too easy?

I bought both VC games, as I love Qix and heard good things about Fortified Zone. I also bought Alleyway, because it was the only 3DS VC game I didn't own, though I doubt I'll ever play it.

This is why we get Urban Champion.

If Nintendo made decisions based on my downloading habits they wouldn't have slowed down Wii VC releases to almost nothing. I own over 80 Wii VC games, and now these ones are cheaper and require no fridge cleaning whatsoever. I'm kind of afraid of what may happen to me long-term with this service.

Isn't it strange, the psychological effect Nintendo's download schedule is having on us?  First thing I'm thinking when I wake up on Thursday morning is "I wonder what's going to be the VC today?"  The way the 3DS does downloadables (as opposed to the Wii/DS way) also does its part, with the whole saving and running from the main-freakin-menu system.

Oh yeah, I know I have 2 sealed copies of that game.   1 is for trading.  But people who collect Amiibos?  They really have a problem!

A Potato.  Aperture Science Potato base technology would allow for you to self power your 3DS.  The minor mobility needs could be done through your stubby legs.

I probably played two hours of Qix last night. I kind of want to throw it through a wall, but I like it a lot.

That reminds me of playing through Layton.

I love Qix, and having a faithful handheld version available anytime I want it right on the SD card is fantastic. The only thing bugging me is that, unless I'm missing something, it doesn't tell you how many lives you have left.

It is the teens, and there is time for Qix.
